If there’s playoff basketball beingness broadcasted on ESPN this postseason, there’s a very good accidental that NBA chirrup will be busy cooking Paul Pierce for thing he said during the pregame or postgame show.
After the Boston Celtics won Game 1 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals ordering against the Milwaukee Bucks on the road, Pierce with confidence announced that the Celtics would “out-talent” Milwaukee for the rest of the ordering.

The Bucks, of course, went on to blow out the Celtics in Game 2, and won four sequent games to beforehand to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Pierce was mocked by the Milwaukee Bucks on the team’s scoreboard aft the team blocked out their ordering, and fans put up lacking posters about the Bucks’ arena.

On Friday night before Game 6 of the Rockets-Warriors ordering, Pierce predicted that James Harden and the Rockets would blow out the defending champions, who were forced to play without Kevin Durant.

The Rockets were favored by seven points at home, but Steph Curry and Klay Thompson combined for 60 points, and the Rockets collapsed in the fourth quarter.
